Sunday 10th September saw the Great North Run for 2023 take place. An East Durham Veterans Trust were thrilled to have so many runners taking part on our behalf.
A total of 23 individuals took to the streets to run the gruelling 13.1-mile course for East Durham Veterans Trust, raising a tremendous amount of money as they did.
The grand total raised is still being counted, but as it stands our runners raised an incredible £2300 to go towards the running and maintenance of our trust.
We had participants travelling from near and far to take their place at the start line in the name of East Durham Veterans Trust.
Not just differing in geography, but also in age, we had runners aged as young as 20 all the way up to runners aged 67.
All of our runners did us proud and played their part in what was a fantastic day.
We would like to place on record our sincerest thanks to all of those who got involved.
