The AJ Bell Great North Run isn’t just the world’s biggest half marathon – it’s the most unforgettable. Every year, 60,000 runners hit the streets from Newcastle to South Shields, cheered on by unbeatable entertainment and the famous North East welcome. It’s a day filled with energy, community, and millions raised for incredible causes. The Great North Run has a magic all of its own – and you’ll only truly get it once you’ve been part of it.
Why Run For East Durham Veterans Trust ?
Run the AJ Bell Great North Run for more than a finish line — run it for those who’ve served. By supporting East Durham Veterans, every step you take helps provide vital care, connection, and hope for veterans in our community. The miles might test your body, but the cause will lift your spirit. Do it for the challenge, do it for the camaraderie, and most of all — do it for those who gave so much.
