Veterans Counselling
East Durham Veterans Trust provides mental health support and counselling for veterans and their families. Counselling at East Durham Veterans Trust is offered via face to face at our veterans hub in Seaham, via telephone or online via teams or zoom. All counselling is with our fantastic and friendly qualified counsellors.
At East Durham Veterans Trust we don't believe in waiting lists and have a very strict policy that everyone who is referred or self refers into our service will be seen within two weeks!

Our counselling programme is one of the best around, and we couldn't be more proud!
Our counselling programme in 2024:
~201 veterans and family members have accessed our service since in 2024.
~ individuals who have completed the counselling programme and rated the service 4.98 out of 5in 2024
~70% have shown either a significant or moderate improvement in their mental health.
~The service is 134% more in demand than in 2022.
We are thrilled with these results and we will continue to support the veteran community and set the standard within our community.
