My name is Shaun and I am one of the Caseworkers at East Durham Veterans Trust. I am also a Veteran, serving in the Royal Corps of Signals, where I served in the UK and Germany.

I left the forces to become a Prison Officer serving thirteen years. I am a huge believer in Mental health support and diversity and inclusion.  

I do this role because I enjoy interacting with other veterans, and supporting and signposting them where I can. I believe I have a strong understanding of veterans being one myself, and I can relate to issues and topics brought on by service and leaving the service.
